Dog of the Week: Siberian Husky

Huskies are common work dogs that love to run in the snow. And this snow-loving creature is the Dog of the Week!

Origin

Siberian Huskies were originated in North-eastern Siberia, Russia, to be specific. They were bred by the ‘Chukchi people’. The husky has a stemma of spitz dogs and the Laika dog.

Note: Stemma basically means family tree.

Appearance

Aren’t the puppies cute?

Siberian Huskies can come in COAT COLORS red and white, black and white, black and brown mixed (as shown in picture: The one on the <- left) along with plain white, and etc. Their EYE COLOR can come in with a mixture (shown in picture: the one on the right) like blue and brown. Commonly, they have brown eyes, or blue eyes. Their coat is also very thick, so that’s how they handle such cold weather.
