Munchkin is our pet cat! Lord Munchkin, to be exact. But when we talk to him, we call him Munchkin, since Lord Munchkin is a little long.
Anyway, we wanted you to know about our fancy Ragdoll cat, Munchkin. But before we add his picture gallery, here is the full story and info about him:
We adopted him when he was 2 months old. Munchkin is a Seal mink Ragdoll cat, who is now 2 years old. He is brown and white with a brown collar, and this handsome cat hearts belly-rubs. He’ll flop down for one, even if he bangs his head on the table!
One fact about Ragdolls, like Munchkin, is that they don’t belong in an animal shelter. Munchkin came from the breeder, which is why one of his personality traits is calm, and afraid of loud noises. We like taking him outside for a little stroll around the backyard, and we don’t put him on a leash. But those who have a pet Ragdoll cat, we highly recommend not to take your cat out without a leash. It is only because we have made a strong bond with him, and he goes where we go.
Munchkin was easily trained to reply to his name. And when he goes on the old fish tank he’s not supposed to go on, we trained him the command ‘down’. All Ragdoll cats, like Munchkin, can be easily trained since they’re dog-like. Munchkin is also very loyal and intelligent. He knows what to chew on and what not to chew on!
Chewie is one of Munchkin’s favorite toys. He loves to chew on him and chase him when Chewie is thrown by someone. Anytime he chews on cardboard, we give him Chewie instead!
General Spike is also one of Munchkin’s favorite toys. He is a pink bouncy light-up ball and has squishy spikes on him. Munchkin loves to follow his light to find him!
A little nickname we call Munchkin when he’s not around is ‘Munchie’, which purr-fectly suits him when we only talk about him, not to him.
Munchkin also loves it when someone reads a book to him. Mostly Kitty’s Magic, The Puppy Place, and occasionally Harry Potter. He usually lies down when we read Harry Potter to him. He perks up with interest when we read Kitty’s Magic, and sleeps when we read The Puppy Place. Of course, he’s not fond of The Puppy Place…it’s about puppies! And he’s met a Chihuahua dog before, and he growled, hoping not to get into a fight. But the dog, (named Harley), really wanted to be friends with him, so Munchkin hid. ‘Guess that’s when he learned what a dog was!
Anyway, the ‘Meet Munchkin’ info-story was amazing, so let us move on to the ‘Munchkin Museum’ instead. It’ll take your breath away.
Well, that’s it about our little lord! Please check more of our posts, too! We hope you liked this page!
