Cats can be heroes, even a kitten! For example: Jack, the clawless orange tabby tomcat, chased a bear up a tree, and then another tree. If you don’t believe it, here is a picture:

Anyway, Jack really didn’t want that bear in his backyard!

Let’s move on to Scarlett, the cat that saved her kittens lives.

They lived in a garage, and one day, a fire broke out! Scarlett took all of her kittens to safety, and luckily, the kittens weren’t hurt, but Scarlett was. Her eyes were injured, and her heart suffered. She had survived, and the Wellens (Scarlett’s owners), were happy to know that!

Next up: Rusty. The cat who saved his owner, Claire Nelson, before and during a heart attack. He nibbled her feet and jumped on her chest to keep the blood pumping, and later, she survived. After the heart attack, she went outside and wasn’t feeling so well. So, Claire dialed 911, and they noticed that she had suffered from a heart attack! If it wasn’t for Rusty, Claire wouldn’t have survived.

Up next: Sable. The Crossing-Guard Cat. Every day he would come out of his owner’s house in the afternoon. Here is a picture if you do not believe it:

Okay, Okay. You’re probably thinking: How can a cat crossing guard be a lifesaver? Well, one icy day, Sable was doing his work making sure everyone got across the road safely. But then a boy slipped on the ice and fell, but Sable rescued him. Just when one of the crossing guards were about to help, Sable looked like he was saying: “Don’t worry, I took care of him.”

There is one more cat: Pudditat, the guide cat for a dog. Now, he was no lifesaver, but he was guiding a dog named Tervel. Tervel was blind, but Pudditat helped Tervel by getting around the house and yard, and Tervel relied on him to navigate him, and they were best buddies!:
